Polls Polls and polls every where!!!

Media in India have changed a lot in few years, the advent of latest technologies and methods used in Journalism especially in TV journalism have made vast changes in news delivery and other activities involved. Many says that the duty of any channel is to deliver what people want to see, indirectly > the channel will get adds only if they telecast programs with high viewership <> there was always some one who asked about the morality of our systems, from market to the morality in our lives. The morality of media comes to picture here as it is now influencing the life of common man greatly, the news being delivered, lets forget if its true or not, but should we not think whether the news being delivered is the right one or not?]

Of course I agree the scope of Papparaazzi :) - lots of viewers and lots of fun..Ok let me no talk on that.. I was thinking about the Polls being conducted in the TV channels for every thing and the other.

Poll - Will India win/Loss? should Sachin be in the team? ..ok some makes sense
but there are lot of polls which don't make sense at least - Is Katara the murderer? is --- the person behind .... etc etc crap crap.....

How will the viewer who do not have an idea in fact the least knowledge of some of the issues which in fact is not rel event to him directly (not that of Sachin , APJ Kalam etc) just like some murder cases etc..
Since the poll results are given in percentage without expressing the number of people participated gives a very wrong information. Few points to consider in this case

> the number of viewers who are actually aware of the program and participating in the survey
- When comparing this to the total volume or count of people who will come under the topic of concern or are relevant to poll their vote - what will be the percentage?

> People - do we know that the person who is giving a vote is doing with proper information / Knowledge in the topic

Ok lets forget everything > Won't this surveys give a very false information?

PS: 60% of the statistical reports published are created on the spot :)
