A month at home and back

It has been a while since I wrote something here, and this comes just after finishing the work at office and about to leave home. Whets the . From the day I beganJbig news? Yes, it is there indeed, am married the trip to home (below blog) it was the busiest time I ever had in my personal life may be it is supposed to be so though! I hardly recall anytime when I had been at home more than two weeks continuously since I joined work after graduating from the university.

Alhamdulillah (Thank god), everything went well and in the best way possible. Obviously followed the same method of marriage sermon as my brothers and sisters in family which is called ‘Bismi’ marriage. Identified for simplicity, against dowry system and the lavish spending marriages which of course as I understand is one of the evil practice happening without reluctance in the society to which am a part of. Praying for forgiveness and the reward from almighty. I wonder is it worth putting bit of personal stuff here, looking back what ever I have written here is nothing less than personal. So its ok isn’t?

Loads of travel to Family and relative houses, tiring though but feels good now. Train travel, KSRTC travel some time in the serene silent back waters and villages in Kerala. Had lots of good time with Kids in the family which was most amazing.

F
air enough. I had left the room in Fearnley before I moved to India for a month vacation in plan for moving to a new place on return just for a change. Came back stayed in Fearnley for another month and then moved in to current Huntingdon place, nice locality, more close to office and to the house where colleagues lived. Though leaving Chris, Camlina (the lovely English Italian couple) Daniel (Chinese student) and Dennis (German student) is not that easy but yeah I needed a change and so I went for it. The new place is cool and good had three four days delay in getting my broadband transferred to the new address but now things settled. Here three Slovakian and One English house mates, cool and good so far.

In the process of getting the driving licence here as my international licence which I was using got expir
ed. Cleared the theory test and now in lessons with Paul on the streets of Bedford every time to make me understand that am not going to get the licence that easily ;-). Back in Cambridge Sulfi is with Aalikka, our new friend and a nice person. Awesome chef especially on Arabian cuisine. The worst part is here and that’s all about the last Ramdhan and Eid, may be I was in the hangover of returning from home few days before Ramdhan was so uncomfortable being alone for fasting. Last year Ansar was with and we had good time too. To make things better though for some days, Harshad joined me and was with me for a week. He did bought some good food stuff from Kerala . Again a lovely person. Went CambridgeJwhich eased much of my pain twice I believe had good food. Once when Nasweeph was leaving home and later two day stay with Aalikka and Sulfi. Time for good food .

Eid was on a working day and was not in a position to go anywhere as my other friends here also are on work. So it was like prayer in the morning and later lots of calls back and forth with wishes ‘Thakabbalallahu Minna Va Minkum’ and Eid Mubarack’. Thank god it’s a good day though I missed the Eid back home and my stomach was not letting me eat anything cause of some acid problems. Am I am getting Old? Indeed, I am!

Things working well with me here, Alhamdulillah. Weekends mostly on driving lessons, shopping and other small household activities. Only things which makes me feel bad are those which is coming out in the news everyday. Blasts, murders and rampage activities in different states in India, though not the least the ‘big recession show up’. The Credit crunch is here!!

Prayers
