Examz,packing and itina

Yesterday - Last night in Itina.. all the exam preparations which never went above 2hrs a day , cooking the dinner myself for past 4 days, travel ling 35 km up and down for five days in the morning, writing something for two hours and rushing back and then sitting and doing the travel arrangements and now all packed and set to go home..wanna meet aichu and haari. << Summary of last5-6 days here in Bangalore.

Now its time for me to vacate from the sweet serene relaxing apartment, did all the packing by yesterday night - 3.30, day before yesterday was also the same kind. Was in Shameers house for a long time yesterday evening, no thought about the exam next day. Had a relaxed walk in the Itina road got some snack and finished with Shameer, then chat time with Ranjith, done with the luggage issue till bus station. Am taking my bike too back home.

A victor which had taken me through the roads of Mysore and Bangalore for a year and half now gonna say good bye to Karnataka roads, will have to find some option to carry the luggage after landing Calicut, as its there too much. He is in excellent condition, need to do a water service to make him look better :-)

Exams were just fine, the whole problem was the 35 km distance from my office, and now its all done and am all set to relax. The life in Itina was really good, but the thing is that I did not remember more than 3-4 weekends been there, cause all the weekends are for travel either to home or with some activities, still the time i been there was always nice and relaxing. I like the place, serenity, kids playing around and all this was just lot enough to make me cool when i come back from the desk. The late night "Lassi" walks were just awesome.

Haari and Ayisha had came from abudhabi last week itself, was not able to go home cause of my examz, good part is that I am taking the bike too with me so can roam around with Haari there :-) He was asking about Beach. Irfan had left yesterday to Dxb, hope to meet him there. Riza and team going for Umra..again will meet there (Prayers)

Oh yeah, the shopping last week was good, roamed a lot in commercial street, MG road and all.
All in all, Thank god and Good going

Horizon 05 - Fun,Hardwork and satisfaction

One attempt which I consider as a good work from me, which gave lot of satisfaction and good time.

A digital Astronomy Magazine - " Horizon 05 "

I did this in my final year in Farook College. Also released a print version at the same occation.

The Magazine contained articles by the members,astronomy pictures, ebooks, astro softwares, a video about the activities of the club, clips about the Club and a message from the College principal. It was great time and wonderful experience. I had taken my handy cam to the collage in the occasions of the activities of the club and at time i didn't had any plans to make a video out of those.

So you might wonder where am I here? Actually I just leaned down to take something when the flash blinked - so You can imagine me present behind the clips in the left of the photo :-)

The releasing was also done very well at the Audio Visual Theater. Myself and Jihad took lot of care to make the light sound settings to be apt in changing moments and all. We screened the video to the audience and then the Project Coordinator, RSC Calicut released the CD from the hands of ZA Ashraf sir. A very memorable time for me and for some of my AstroFarook friends. My Friend Pramod had worked a lot in designing this, the contribution from the AstroFarook team and teachers where immense.
We sold the CD to the students and teachers of the collage as a fund raising activity for the club. And of course We did that well too :-)

Here in Infosys, the Astronomy Club "Orion" which we started in last April is just going very well, am just having good time Coordinating the activities

My Nation - My President

When I was doing various projects in my school days, i always had something related to space or astronomy in my papers. Don't know exactly from where i got this interest but of course a great deal goes to Regional planetarium, Astronomy Olympiads where i was very much active. Those days Mr Abul Pakeer J Abdul Kalam was the chief scientific adviser to the ministry. Then itself i had read a lot about him, the way he works, his contributions to the nations scientific and defense spaces. Later on when this Long haired Intelligent son of India became the president i did thought that a good scientist of the nation is going to be a mere rubber stamp for the politicians here. I was really afraid if we miss his scientific expertise which should is very important for the nation.

and now after five years of his tenure as the president of the nation, things are not as i had though

the one and only courageous president of India who proved President is not just a rubber stamp by sending back many resolutions , by flying a fighter aircraft at this age of his life, traveling ina submarine 40 mts under water, reaching Siachin glaciers and many more such adventures and above all the Honorable President has become the Peoples president, nobody ever achieved till now, meeting thousand of Kids and youth across the nation and sharing his vision about a devoloped India. He is the one president the all Indian (I don't why Politician are exceptions? ;-)) subcontinent wants to be in Raiseena hills for another five years (At least).

Now the picture is almost clear that he won't be there. And some thing new comes for India > (seems like) a women President - wow Kudos to that. At this point of 60 years of Independence..its nice . All the best to my nation. Let me forget how this President will do for US, but with all my heart dipped i Wish "a very best". Now starts the debate.. Do we need to change the constitution? if she is going to take her oath in Hindi? What should we call her Husband? ooops before that.What should we call her?

The debate is on. Rashtramatha..RashtraAdhyaksha..etc..what for her Husband..
Nice to see the debate happening in US , what to call Hilary Clinton If she gets elected in the presidential poll - President or Presidentrix. Seems these changes are also gonna add something to our dictionaries. :-)

The very best and prayers...lemme get back to work..weekend was a relaxing, cool one.. i think i used well. BTW had to cancell my Bannarghetta NP visit plan. Will do next week

Another Environment day...

After returning from the Energy and Conservation seminar today..mind just rolled back to my school days..science fairs, green club at school, love green club Chembaka and all. I always had some or other environment related activities in my chart. It was so nice when we planted the trees at our club park and gave a name board (of the planter) at the plant foot...and we were watering it everyday. Nice to see the plant growing along with us. Now feel nice to think that we really got angry if somebody just tried to harm the plant or even a leaf of it. When the plant planted by one of my friend grew really big (after 5-6 years) and now need to be cut at top since the seeds and branches were leaning towards the nearby house. He got to know about this only after the tree was cut at half and came crying to the uncle's in the colony.

I always had that passion to climb the mango trees and have it raw with salt and chilli..cristi and anand were my best company for this. At school I was active Oisca, did lot of tree planting in school campus, participated many program etc. I got a very serious interest after participating in a adventure trek to Muthanga forest. After that i had won few prices in PCRA energy conservation research competitions and all.

Now everyday reading something or other about the growing ozone layer depletion, global warming, greenhouse gas density increase, non renewable fuel crisis, climatic issues though deep inside there is a thought that this is how things are suppose to happen but deeper inside it really bothers "What to do?"

The weekend that was!!

Actually had planned for a Mulyankiri trek..since got information about a workshop which i wanted to attend canceled the earlier one..Fylu had came ..but was in a short notice..he waz with me..yeah..also Vipin joined my Apartments (new room mate)..a cool simple ground to earth person..

the week was quiet cool..not much of load..still not spending time on books..(bad)..when i reached the workshop location..got to know that the program has got canceled..and they had missed to inform me..reaching there after a real bad travel on Bangalore road..though was not comfortable with the news..i was fine as the place was quiet near to my fathers younger brothers house..thats good ( missing good food : since 10 dayz am here) ..had food ..met everybody there..relaxed and went back to met friends at Koramangala..and back home at 10...bought the spare parts for the bike (heavy purchase) while return.

the next day devoted to bike servicing....things went till 4pm and then..my bike its just like a cruiser in a calm sea. am happy.. ;-) had a haircut..had food and relaxed till 6 and then in Infy..

and now gonna back home (waiting for Vipin).. thank god for a healthy good time
