We are setting off..Slowly

Outside the window: it’s nice and sunny. Temperature around 10-11 degrees, which is not bad.

Inside the window: waiting for the Systems to be up. I am at Office
Looking back to last few weeks. Nice and happening in many ways.

I recall the day I reached back UK with my wife. Terribly cold, we were seeing the roads and shores in white frost. The day came to be more happening with the problem we faced in getting the property I had signed to be moved in on the same day. We were thanking god for having that small but wonderful VW Polo which kept us warm and roaming around till afternoon. We got in to a temporary accommodation that day, considering moving to the booked property on next weekend. That was a Studio apartment not very far from the town. The next weekend was all about moving, shopping for home utensils. Shopping for the furniture turned up to be the greatest blunder from me in recent history (Story Untold).

The hilgrounds area, which had nice play fields, lush green surrounding and nice locality overall just made us forget the trouble we had on first day, though we did enjoy that too. Setting things back slowly, opening the packs and Luggage’s bought from home, fitting the furniture’s in place, all it was good fun. In fact this was the first time I am moving my own to a house, which means obviously quiet few mistakes and lot of learning’s. It’s a group of few cluster homes, with a small association taking care of routine activities around. Cats and dogs are also there in the group (pets).

Couple of weeks after we reached here, its time for the heaviest snow in Britain have ever witnessed in last 18 years and I should say that it was Awesome. Last year I missed it when it snowed as I was in to the glaciers in Swiss with high dreams for Skiing. This time the snow was just WOW, and I was there from the beginning just enjoying and taking the spirit. Things turned up to a stage were the councils were not able to manage the roads because of the snow. The drive over snow, the road cowered with white snow, just awesome experience. We did have quiet nice time playing in snow and snow man near our house too. Just lovely.

Another week, when Sulfi and Nasweeph visited us to see our experiments in Kitchen. Later we took them too to Kitchen to prepare food  for them. But you know they are born chefs especially Sulfi with no mention needed for his Biriyanis and Nasweeph famous for his SaltMangoTree (Upma). The legacy of Askar, who left weeks back to India still stayed high in their artworks in kitchen. We went to Bromham, wind mill which as I had mentioned previously is the most lovely place for me near to the village I live

Wouldn’t recognize sometimes how fast the time, which by itself is a great Mystery out of the creations of Allah (The Supreme Creator), goes past us. I remember a Monday happening and rushing to office with all laziness incurred during the weekend and soon going home being happy that “it’s another weekend”. Sulfi after completing two years of his life in Cambridge running back home, we went there on a Sunday before his departure. Had good lunch together, roamed around the place. First we went together to the interiors of Kings College Cambridge and took pics from the bridge nearby over the Cam River. That spot according to me is the best in Cambridge worth capturing in a camera.
Further another week, we were in the Priory Country Park not very far from Tow. Lovely lakes, Shallow streams and water falls and the best is the long walk in the wild. The park had a nice variety of birds and their sound along with the pleasant atmosphere just made us feel so relaxed. Driving back home I was just afresh ready to go work next day.

Everyday we had many of the family and friends online chatting or talking for sometime. Then we got access to the few Malayalam channels which was good to have helping us to be in track of what’s happening there in time to time. Experiments new every happening in Kitchen and myself enjoying eating and commenting, seems I am getting healthier.

The days of heavy travel yet to come, but we set off to Oxford which is of a two hour drive from our town. Joined a walking tour, which was good to join infact we got to know many new things otherwise wouldn’t have thought of having a look at. The colleges and courtyards, the areas where the shooting of movies like Harry Potter series happened, massive libraries and above all the crowd of students and vibrant youth, just liked it. It was the same I felt whenever I go Cambridge, the wall which had the fragrance of books and learning, students on bikes and the crowd which I miss in Bedford.

About to leave home from office as there is some problem with Systems and have to work at home. Happy that I cleared the UK driving test yesterday and now setting to full fledged traveling here with friends who are with their family here. Thank god for everything.

Bad news comes always, Yesterday terror attack on Srilankan Cricket Team at Lahore!
Eagerly waiting for the election, as the parliament election dates announced in India (don’t know If I would be able to vote this year).
Financial crisis takes its toll on one every day, today its ITV, yesterday for HSBC though not bad as others.

Don’t know who is behind all these, was all just a mistake by the financial institution in their gamble for money and business. Or is it something else…God Knows and He know everything.

Prayers
